Genette has always had a passion for singing. From a fairly young age she was often to be found singing into her hairbrush like most other little girls!
Genette has a powerful and capivating presence that captures from start to finish. She never fails to deliver both a stunning visual and vocal performance.
Genette has been performing within Decadance since the duo began with Gary in the Autumn of 2004, previous to this she performed on a professional level within a top quality function band who were also based around Essex.
Genette is vocally trained and a very confident, experienced musician. With the recent awful and tragic situation regarding Gary and the duo she has shown herself to be a true professional. Genette has took over the running and management of Decadance and indeed even built this website! She has many talents and is a strong, driven career lady with a supportive husband and family she manages to do all of this with two young children! She is a credit to have co-running and performing in this most successful duo. She certainly has a busy life and her hands very full!
Major influences for Genette are that of course of the diva Cher who Genette can portray extremely well. She is a huge Cher fan and loves taking on her role in performance. Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and any powerful divas that spring to mind are usually favourites with Genette. Her favourite songs to perform are the more recent chart/dance hits from the likes of Lady Ga Ga and Girls Aloud member Cheryl Cole. Genette likes to keep her finger on the pulse by learning and performing the up to date chart hits so that there really is something for everyone. This always goes down extremely well with the youngsters at the Holiday Parks we perform at nothing else! - And who knows maybe Genette will become the next Lady Ga Ga tribute?! - Watch this space! ! !
